Even in multithreaded benchmarks the AMD FX 8150 is not able to beat Intel's I7 2600K :(

too young BIOS or performance really sucks ?

These benchmark values really look disappointing ... Only in Handbreak the FX has been able to keep up. Neverthless I would have liked to see the performance of a 2500K in comparison.
I doubt that the mobo manufacturers will be able of getting much more performance out of this CPU. The only thing that could somehow allow AMD to increase efficiency was some like the TLB Bug with the old Phenom I CPUs.
At the moment it looks like performance enthusiasts will have to buy Intel ...

Diese Benchmarkresultate schauen wirklich enttäuschend aus ... Lediglich bei Handbreak kann der FX mit dem 2600K mithalten. Nichts desto Trotz hätte ich es interessant gefunden, wenn man auch die Resultate eines 2500K zum Vergleich gehabt hätte.
Ich bezweifle, dass die Mobo Hersteller durch BIOS Updates noch viel an Performance herausholen können. Das einzige was passieren könnte ist, dass AMD zufälligerweise etwas ähnliches wie anno dazumal den TLB Bug findet und anschliessend die Effizienz der CPU verbessert werden kann.
Derzeit sieht es so wohl immer noch so aus, als müssten Performance-Enthusiasten Intel kaufen ...

Phenom II x4 955BE is way more faster than the AMD FX 4100

From what I know until now. The new Bulldozer architecture got more FPUs and it is very different to the Intel architecture. The problem now is that most of the software out there which aims at the consumer market ... guys like us ... has been optimized for Intel architecture processors.

What the FX is very good for on the other hand is the server market. The thing is highly scalable and in the enterprise sectore there is no problem with the architecture differences. When a super computer is being built, then the software is going to be rewritten too if they can get more performance out of the system.
