ASUS told me that for overclocking one should use 0076b

That's what ASUS wrote in the mail:

Quoted

As BIOS 0802 is the release candidate in the near future, please kindly pass this version to media, and 0076B to power user and Overclockers desiring even better DRAM performance and OC capability.
sure they started optimize Dram from 76B and the 83B right now is the best one

Crap ... I didn't follow this thread.

A Matrix is at Rogers place, but the card is crap. It seems to be one of the early samples which does not overclock well. I asked ASUS Switzerland for four Matrix ... but it would be utter and complete luck if we can even manage to get one additional Matrix.

Roger also has the Lightning does overlcock quite well. I hope we can do something with this card.

Vince (kingpin) replied to me about the GTX 580 Classified : ''Let me see what I can do. So many guys want samples, and right now there is a factory shortage on one component on the card that is slowing down production. I cant promise anything and most likely I cant get u samples, but I will try.''
