Okay it was a pain, hard work lots of testing/try/fail but a lot of fun, now I have a cold (LN2 + windows open) :verrueckt:

Big thanks to GELID Solutions for the GC-Extreme thermal compound and GeIL for the Evo Corsa memory kit GOC316GB2400C11QC

Too bad the 6.1 GHz CPU-Z file is corrupted :dash1: , anyway:

http://hwbot.org/submission/2246347

I guess there is a bit luck too, first Llano CPU/Motherboard ever and I managed those score, okay it was hard and I had some help from Stilt, Massman & _mat_, thanks guys.

Btw fo the memory overclocking, above 1550 MHz runs, the memory is working @ only 1024 MB, I modded the memory PCB.

Ho and also thanks to HWBot and Gigabyte for this competition, I had a lot of fun.

Quoted

The feat consisted of a clock speed of 6067.7 MHz achieved using a base clock of 258.2 MHz and multiplier of 47.0x

In which world 258.2 MHz is a possible base clock on Llano ?
In which world 47 x 258.2 MHz = 6067.7 ?
Fail, it's using a base clock of 129.1 MHz and a 47x multiplier.

They ALL did the same mistake/error, thanks copy/pasting.

Quoted

CPU-Z Validator rejected this submission, probably because like us, it finds 2V vCore and 258.2 MHz base clock unreal for Llano, since it uses a common 100 MHz clock domain for BClk and PCIe

Noooooooooo, not at all, CPU-Z Validator rejected the submission because it rejects all AMD submissions since due to a bug it times by 2 the base clock when validating the submission online.

Quoted

Christian Ney looks to have overclocked an AMD A8-3870 Black Edition to more than 6 GHz

Come on, okay I did the highest clocks, but please don't say I am the only one that did 6 GHz, Tsunamijuan and _mat_ did it too. That's not fair.

Oh and no one posted links to the results on hwbot nor the competition nor ocaholic ...

Sigh

What does define the real source?
Can be several:
Ocaholic.ch due to the article,
hwbot due to score + competition
gigabyte's blog (Dino's post) results from the comp
mydrivers.com (chinese) (posted then by techpowerup in english) then all others just copy/pasted it

Or can also be me, I am the source :roflmao:
