Corsair Force 3 60GB

Ich bestitze die obenwerwähnte SDD genaue Bezeichunung (CSSD-F60GB3-BK)
Nun zu meinem Problem:
Es kommt sicher 2-3 mal pro Woche vor das die Platte nach einem (kaltstart) nicht erkannt wird.Danach reboot und es funktioniert.Sie ist an einem Gigabyte Z68 UD2 angeschlossen (SATA3 Port)
Gestern habe ich noch die neueste FW 1.3 geflasht aber keine Besserung.
Bin ratlos und frage mich ob es die SSD ist oder evtl das MB?

Sorry für die reichlich späte Antwort aber wir hatten interne Umstrukturierungen!
Also zu Deiner Frage falls das Problem noch besteht:
Bitte SSD mal an Port 0 Anschließen und Port 1 leer lassen und dann mal testen!

Ich habe dasselbe Problem mit einer Force 3 120 GByte. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle an welchem SATA-III Port ich die SSD anschliesse. Hinzu kommt, dass sich das OS erst mit einem Bluescreen verabschiedet und anschliessend wird die Force 3 120 GByte vom System nicht mehr erkannt.

Was kann man da machen?
Sys 1 Arbeitsviech: Gigabyte X58A-UD7, Core i7 920 @ 3.6GHz, ATI Radeon HD 6970, 6 GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600, OCZ Vertex 3 240 GByte SSD, 750 GB Samsung HDD
Sys 2 Linux Server: Gigabyte X48-DQ6, QX6850, Billige Graka, 4 GB DDR3, 1 x 36 GB WD Raptor, 6 x 2TB, 2 x 1.5 TB
MacBook Pro 13 Zoll, 8 GB RAM, Samsung PM 830 256 GB SSD

Ich nehme an die SSD war am Marvel Port - der macht generell Probleme und der native SATA2 hat eh bessere Performance. Würde den SATA3 Port der X58 Boards eh immer meiden.

Vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Ich werde mal schauen ob das Abhilfe schafft ...

Bezüglich der Performance muss ich widersprechen. Der SATA-III Controller schafft konstant gegen 350 MB/s. Beim SATA-II Controller von Intel sind 280 MB/s das höchste der Gefühle. Von dem her performt der Marvell-Controller besser. Bezüglich IOPS sehen die Zahlen gleich aus.

Alles klar,

meist sind die IOPS um das doppelte höher beim Intel Port, hängt aber auch ganz davon ab wie das Board selbst performt und vor allem was alles am Chipset hängt (PCI/PCIe, USB und SATA).

Auf jeden Fall ist der Marvell nicht ansatzweise mit einem nativen Intel SATA 3 Port zu vergleichen. :-)

Ja, das ist ganz klar so! Die Marvell Dinger waren bis jetzt alle samt eine Katastrophe! :3
