AMD stösst Fertigungsfabriken ab

Gestern war es noch ein Gerücht und heute wird es vom CEO persönlich bestätigt. AMD will seine Produktion auslagern. Daher wird das Unternehmen wohl all seine Fabs veräusseren oder zumindest ausgliedern.

AMD schreibt schon sieben Quartale in Folge rote Zahlen und ist mit dem Kopf schon ziemlich lange unter Wasser. Ob AMD am Ende des zweiten Quartales dieses Jahres wieder profitabel wirtschaftet, werden wir sehen. Durch die Ausgliederung der Produktion werden auf jeden Fall massive Unterhaltkosten entfallen.
