Der Grafikchip-Hersteller Nvidia hat ein Referenzdesign für Supercomputer vorgestellt, die sich jeder auf den Schreibtisch stellen kann. Die Basis bilden seine Tesla-Karten.

Das ganze GPGPU-Computing Thema finde ich sehr interessant. Ermöglichen einem Cuda in Kombination mit GPUs Leistung in neuen Dimensionen an Heim-PCs. Wenn diese Entwicklung so weiter geht, dann machen High-End-Grafikkarten auch bald Sinn, wenn man die Karte nicht zum Spielen braucht.
