News: Core i7 920 mit neuem Stepping

Intel gibt eine "Product Cahnge Notice" (PCN) bekannt und verweist drauf, dass der Core i7 920 Prozessor bald in einem neuen Stepping verfügbar sein soll. Dabei soll nun die Revision D-0 aktuell sein.

Intel will sich mit den neuen Modellen noch ziemlich Zeit lassen. Die i7 Plattform wird sehr langsam gelauncht.

Oha! Weisst du evtl. wo die CPU her kommt? Aus einem Shop oder von Intel direkt?

Die Hardwarehersteller rücken kaum mehr mit Daten raus :thumbdown: und leider funktioniert diese Informationssperre relativ gut.

@rewarder: Du must dir das neue mATX DFI besorgen, ist jetzt gelistet (1. mATX LGA1366 Board)

Falls das Board was taugt, muss ich wohl auf LGA1366 umsteigen :verrueckt:

Aus meiner persönlichen Warte betrachtet finde ich es gut, dass sich vor allem Intel bedeckt hält mit Informationen, sprich, dass einfach irgendwann neue Produkte kommen und die sind dann auch besser als die Alten. Weiter schiesst sich ein Hersteller meist auch ins eigene Bein, wenn die Gerüchteküche angerührt wird, denn bei Gerüchten kann alles immer irgendwie verdreht und verwunden werden und schliesslich ist nichts mehr so wie es eigentlich mal war. Das ist auch der Grund weshalb ich kaum mehr News-Items bezüglich Gerüchten schreibe.


@Entsafter
Wenn uns dann der X58-ATX-Mainboard-Saft ausgeht, dann denke ich werden wir uns sicher auch mini-ATX Board annehmen!

Ich nehme an er wird ein neues Stepping haben und natürlich einen höheren Multi. Wenn ich genügend Kohle hätte würde ich mir aber den 975 ziehen :blush2: ist ja klar.
