AMD hat die ATI Radeon HD 5800 Grafikkartenserie vorgestellt. Die neuen Grafikkarten arbeiten mit dem derzeit schnellsten Prozessor1 und unterstützen als erste auf dem Markt Microsoft DirectX 11, den mit Microsoft Windows 7 ausgelieferten Technologie-Standard für Multimedia-Anwendungen und Spiele.
