ASUS ATI Radeon EAH5850 G 2 DIS

Die ASUS EAH5850 G 2 DIS ist mit ATi/AMD's neuem RV870 Chip bestückt und stellt die Einsteiger-Karte in die 5800-Serie dar. Die GPU wird bei TSMC im 40 Nanometer Verfahren hergestellt. Auf insgesamt 334 Quadratmillimetern wurden 2,15 Milliarden Transistoren verbaut, was mehr als eine Verdopplung der Schaltungen hinsichtlich der Vorgänger-GPU entpsricht. Die EAH5850 hält sich voll und ganz an das Referenzdesign von AMD und auf den bekannten DualSlot Kühler mit Kupferboden und Heatpipes.
