Ubisoft kündigte die Veröffentlichung von DRIVER SAN FRANCISCO auf der E3-Pressekonferenz an. DRIVER SAN FRANCISCO ist der erste Teil der bekannten Marke für Systeme der aktuellen Generation. Der geplante Veröffentlichungstermin ist das vierte Quartal 2010. Das Spiel erscheint für das PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainmentsystem, das Xbox 360 Videospiel- und Entertainmentsystem von Microsoft, sowie für Windows PC und Mac. DRIVER SAN FRANCISCO erweitert die kinoreife Verfolgungsjagd um das eindrucksvolle, neue Feature namens “Shift”. Für Nintendos Wii ist ein eigener Ableger in Entwicklung, mehr Details zu diesem Titel werden in naher Zukunft enthüllt.
