Gigabyte GA-7PESH1 mit 2x Xeon E5 2690

Anstelle eines Enthusiasten-Mainboards, setzen wir uns heute mit einem Workstation Mainboard auseinander. Dabei handelt es sich aber nicht um ein Einsteigerboard sondern um ein Flaggschiffmodell von Gigabyte. Dieses kann mit bis zu 512 Gigabyte DDR3 1600 MHz Speicher bestückt werden und fasst zwei 8 Kern / 16 Threads Prozessoren. Fener gibt es einen High-End LSI SAS Controller sowie zahlreiche weitere Features.

Christian, danke für den aussagekräftigen Test!

... mein Kaufwunsch war / ist geweckt :-)

Das Board erfüllt die Punkte, die wichtig für mich sind. Und was das Bios angeht, hoffe ich, dass Gigabyte bereits nachgelegt hat.

Jetzt versuche ich dieses Board in Deutschland zu kaufen - vergeblich. Wo kann ich es beziehen? Gigabyte in Hamburg hat mich nach Frankreich verwiesen, man war sich aber völlig unsicher, Actebis mit Sitz in Soest war zwar wirklich sehr bemüht, hat mich letztlich aber auf Google verwiesen^^

Wenn ihr mir eine Bezugsquelle nennen könntet, wäre das also prima!

Hallo Matthias

Chris hat bei seinem Kontakt im Gigabyte Hauptquartier nachgefragt. Zudem hat mir Chris mitgeteilt, dass das Board, das wir zum Test hatte noch ein Engineering Sample war. Sprich es könnte sogar noch ein wenig dauern bis es letztlich verfügbar ist. Sobald wir Antwort von Gigabyte Taiwan haben, werden wir dich diese wissen lassen.

M ycontact at Gigabyte replied, at the moment it is only available on LDLC.com, it should be possible to ship it to Germany,

How many of them are you looking for ? only one or more ?
