Ubuntu auf ein Softraid installieren

Hat evlt. jemand von euch Erfahrung damit, wie man Ubuntu auf ein Softraid installiert?

Da das RAID vor dem Booten geladen werden muss, muss man ein paar Tricks anwenden.

Grundsätzlich würde ich das aber nicht wirklich empfehlen. Ich würde eine ganz normale Boot-Partition einrichten (ca. 500 MB sind sicher genug) und dann die einzelnen Partitionen "RAIDisieren".

Also auf /dev/sda1 hast du die Boot-Partition und auf /dev/sda2 und /dev/sdb2 die RAID 0 Partitionen. Das RAID aus Partitionen konstruieren ist ähnlich wie das Intel Matrix Raid Gebaschtel, funktioniert aber soweit ohne Probleme.

Eine genaue Anleitung findest du mit Google ohne Probleme, wenn du nach "mdadm howto" suchst (z.B. das ist recht gut).
