Ok then, here we are again. splmann and racoon again met in the OC Lab this week-end and they continued torturing a sweet i7-5960X as well as a maybe even sweeter i5-6600K.
On the i7-5960X splmann was check max frequency and he eventually succeeded in pushing the CPU to 6.284 GHz. This is good for 8th place on HWBot these days. It looks like we're having a pretty decent CPU at hands here, but we certainly want to push harder!

Since racoon has already been toying around with the i5-6600K regarding XTU he continued doing so. Apparently it looks like there is a little battle emerging for the top spot on XTU with the i5-6600K, where are the German nfszocker and racoon are involed. So far racoon uploaded yet another record scoring 1783 Points in XTU. I'm quite curious to see whether nfszocker has another answer to that

That's basically it then with news from this seession. Ah ... no ... racoon has also been pushing an i7-4770K of his. It looks like that's no bad CPU at all as well.

What ... so little volt? ah ... ture we don't see the IO voltage here

Dead fuckers be dead and the answer here is always the same ... splmann: "I don't know how I killed it."

I'm quite sure it died alone on the table! It's always the same story!

yep ... it must have died from boredom, from not being tortured, from being treated too nicely.

This is what happens when an overclocker needs to tweak his cordon bleu :O
