Phantenks working on a mini version of the Enthoo Primo

Called Enthoo Mini XL

Phanteks is not new on the PC case market: the Enthoo Primo is one of the most appreciated case of their catalogue, but its really big dimension often discourage possible users. To solve this, Phanteks is working on a smaller version, called the Enthoo Mini XL.

The Enthoo Mini XL is a mATX case, which can also fit a second mini-ITX motherboard at the same time (using optional accessories), and it measures 550x480x260mm. It's far from being a little case, but it is nowhere near its big brother.

It features three 5.25” slots, two removable slots that can fit 2.5”/3.5” drive, four 2.5” slots and a vertical 3.5” slot. Cooling wise, the Enthoo Mini XL offers quite a lot: it features 9 opening to install fans, all of them with dust-filter (besides the rear opening), while it can fit a great number of radiators for water cooling systems, as you can see in the video below.

Inside, the maximum lenght for the graphics card is between 290mm and 412mm, depending on how many HDD slots you need. The back grill can be swapped with a different one, that allows you to install a second mini-ITX motherboard over the micro ATX one: it looks like Phantenks is going strong, and with this kind of design they will definitely get a lot of attention. Sadly, those who were looking for a little case might not get what they want, since this case is far from being a normal mATX case, it's actually big as many ATX cases.
