Cooler Master announces NovaTouch TKL keyboard

Hybrid capacitive keyboard

Cooler Master has announced its latest addition to its keyboard lineup, the NotaTouch TKL, a hybrid capacitive keyboard designed for speed, accuracy and comfort.

In order to live up to the promises of the ulitmate typing experience for all, the NovaTouch TKL uses a Japanese made hybrid capacitive switch with 45g of actuation force and a 1mm actuation point. This provides the NovaTouch TKL keyboard with smooth press, tactile trigger point and rapid debounce time, which is actually three times faster than on traditional mechanical switches, thus allowing Actions per Minute (APM) to be unhindered by hardware limitations. The switch also features a custom stem that is compatible with Cherry MX keycaps.

The rest of the features and specifications of the new Cooler Master NovaTouch TKL include N-key rollover and anti-ghosting technology, on-the-fly repeat rate adjustment keys for quick control of key repetition, has 1000Hz/1ms pooling rate and packs 128kb of on-board memory.

According to Cooler Master, the NovaTouch TKL, and its compact, tenkeyless design, makes it perfect for those that prefer portability and ergonomics. It also comes with a detachable micro-USB connector with 1.8m of braided cable.

The new Cooler Master NovaTouch TKL will be available in North America and Asia as of today while Europe should be getting it in mid-November. Unfortunately, Cooler Master did not reveal any details regarding the actual price of the NovaTouch TKL.
