Phanteks announces new low-profile CPU cooler

Perfect for HTPC systems

Phanteks has announced its newest addition to the CPU cooler lineup, the low-profile PH-TC12LS. Equipped with Phanteks' latest High Static Pressure series fan, the new Phanteks CPU cooler should provide decent performance despite its low profile.

Designed specifically for HTPC systems, the new PH-TC12LS is mere 47mm tall without the fan and 74mm tall with the fan, which makes it compatible with all 99mm tall cases. It is based on six 6mm C-type nickel-plated heatpipes which connect the base with slim aluminum stacked fins.

In order to overcome airflow restriction caused by fin density, Phanteks equipped the PH-TC12LS with its own seven blade PHF120MP PWM High Static Pressure fan. This one should provide exceptional static pressure and airflow through the heatsink.

The PH-TC12LS also comes with the Solisku Bracket which allows easy installation and provide a direct contact with the CPU while being compatible with both AMD and Intel sockets, making the PH-TC12LS perfect for any HTCP system, according to Phanteks.

According to Phanteks, the PC-TC12LS low-profile CPU cooler should be available in retail in December with a suggested price of US $39.99.
