Sony Xperia Z4 might feature metal unibody

Fingerprint sensor as well

While recent reports put the launch of the Sony's latest Xperia Z4 flagship smartphone for April 20th, rumors regarding specifications are not slowing down and the newest one suggest we will see a metal unibody as well as a fingerprint sensor.

According to the latest set of rumors, coming from ViziLeaks tweet, Sony's Xperia Z4 might not feature a glass back but rather use a full metal unibody design, something that would give Sony an edge over competition. The same source also suggest that the power button will also be redesigned and actually feature a fingerprint reader.

Earlier rumors suggested that the upcoming Xperia Z4 will feature a 5.2-inch screen (in both 1080p and QHD versions), Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC paired up with 4GB of RAM, 20.7-megapixel camera as well as IP68 certification which will make it both dust and water proof.

Most sources also suggest that the earlier leaked picture of the Xperia Z4 is actually a refreshed Z3 model called Xperia Z3 Neo.

A recent rumor also suggested that Sony aims to unveil the Xperia Z4 on April 20th in order to undercut LG's unveiling of the LG G4 scheduled for April 28th.
