NZXT launches new Noctis 450 mid-tower PC case

The NZXT H440 with more aggressive design

With the minimalistic looking NZXT H440, the company has started a trend of launching PC cases that lack an optical drive and today, with the Noctus 450, the company has pushed it to a whole new level, with a similar layout but a whole lot more aggressive design.

While NZXT H440 kept things simple, at least when it comes to design, the new Noctis 450 features an aggressive design with thick plastic that is more resistant to scratches. It features sharp lines, an aggressive front and top panels and will be available in two color choices, a black version with red lighting and white version with blue lighting.

As far as the layout is concerned, the new NZXT Noctis 450 is pretty much identical to the H440, featuring support for ATX motherboards, up to 406.2mm long graphics cards (294mm with HDD cage), up to 180mm tall CPU coolers and support for up to six 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives.

It also comes with the same cooling potential, featuring three front 120mm fans and single rear 140mm fan that come bundled with the case as well as room for additional three 120mm fans at the top. All intake fan mounts come with fan filters.

As you could have guessed from this configuration, there is plenty of room for high-end liquid cooling setups as well. In order to spice things up a bit, the Noctis 450 also comes with an integrated 8-port fan hub, which can also be connected to a Kraken AIO Liquid Cooler.

The aggressive design is complemented by lighting on the rear I/O shield as well as a bottom placed LED strips.

According to NZXT, the new Noctis 450 is already available for pre-order at NZXT Armory with a price set at €139.99/US $139.99.
