DICE's Johan Andersson reveals the AMD Fiji card

Much clearer picture of the next Radeon flagship

Johan Andersson, Technical Director at EA/DICE has tweeted the first actual picture of AMD's next-generation flagship Fiji GPU based graphics card.

While Andersson did not specifically say that this is the Radeon R9 390X, or whatever will AMD's Fiji GPU based flagship graphics be called in the end, he commented that "this new island is one seriously impressive and sweet GPU", which suggests that this is indeed the Fiji GPU based graphics card.

The new picture is much clearer than the earlier seen picture and we are quite sure that AMD had a lot to say in this since Nvidia rumors regarding Geforce GTX 980 Ti were quite popular during this week.

While we can't see a lot on the picture since the angle is just right not to reveal anything important, the pictured graphics card does look short and apparently does not feature any air cooler, which suggest that this is the earlier rumored liquid-cooled graphics card based on the Fiji GPU.

There is no better way to finish up the week with a photo of the upcoming flagship graphics card.
