Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 Ti pictured

Done in Nvidia reference way

While we already heard first unofficial details regarding the specifications of the upcoming Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics card it was about time we see first leaked pictures of the graphics card.

Posted by Videocardz.com, the Geforce GTX 980 Ti, as expected, uses the same reference PCB that we already seen on the GTX Titan X graphics card and pretty much the same cooler, just with a touch of gray color.

According to earlier posted rumored specifications, the upcoming Geforce GTX 980 Ti will be based on Nvidia's 28nm GM200-310 GPU which has 22 SMM units, which adds up to a total of 2816 CUDA cores. It will still feature the same 384-bit memory interface with 6GB of GDDR5 memory.

According to earlier details, the new Geforce GTX 980 Ti is expected to hit retail/e-tail shelve in early June, much earlier than expected, and Nvidia AIC partners will be able to make custom versions from day one, so expect plenty of versions.

Unfortunately, there are still no details regarding the price of the Geforce GTX 980 Ti, which is pretty much the most important piece of information now that AMD is preparing to launch its Radeon 300 series graphics cards, including the Fiji GPU based flagship.
