Philips introduces new 32-inch 4K/UHD monitor

The BDM3275UP based on IPS-AHVA panel

Philips has introduced its newest 32-inch 4K/UHD monitor based on IPS-AHVA panel and aimed more at professionals, rather than gamers and standard users.

Based on a 32-inch IPS-AHVA panel with 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution, the new Philips BDM3275UP features response time of 12ms, 178 degrees horizontal and vertical viewing angles, maximum brightness of 350cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 1000:1. Designed mostly for professionals, the Philips BDM3275UP also comes with 10-bit display with 1.074 billion colors and 12-bit internal processing which should offer smooth, natural colors without gradations and color banding, according to Philips.

The rest of the specifications and features include USB 3.0 hub, VGA, DVI, Displayport and HDMI 2.0 inputs, built-in 3W stereo speakers and Philips SmartErgoBase, which allows height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustments.

Unfortunately, Philips did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability.
