Youtube for Android and iOS now supports 60FPS

Google updates mobile Youtube

Google has updated Youtube apps for Android and iOS giving them support for 60FPS playback.

Bringing plenty of updates recently, Google has now also updated both the Android and iOS Youtube apps adding support for 60FPS playback, also known as the high frame rate (HFR).

There are now plenty of videos on Youtube running on 60FPS and this is certainly a welcomed update. Previously, high frame rate videos showed up on Youtube back in October last year and Google has also updated its Youtube live streaming service to 60PFS in May.
