Nvidia preparing Geforce GTX 950

Not the GTX 950 Ti

Following the recent report, Nvidia is apparently working on a single new graphics card, the Geforce GTX 950.

According to a fresh report from Videocardz.com, Nvidia is working on the Geforce GTX 950 graphics card which will be based on GM206-250 GPU. This is most likely a cut-down version of the GM206 GPU and should pack slightly lower CUDA core count.

While the report does not suggest a precise CUDA core count or the precise clocks, it does say that it will be available with 2GB and 4GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 128-bit memory interface.

It also comes with three DisplayPort, single HDMI and DVI outputs and could use the same reference design as the Geforce GTX 960.

According to Videocardz.com, the new Geforce GTX 950 should launch in the next few weeks and should compete directly with the AMD Radeon R7 370.
