EKWB officially releases Fury X water block

Only single-slot full-cover R9 Fury X water block

Teased earlier last month, EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling specialists from Slovenia, have now officially released its new AMD Radeon R9 Fury X single-slot full-cover water block, the EK-FC R9 Fury X.

Based on a full-cover design, the EK-FC R9 Fury X water block will directly cool the GPU package, which includes both the GPU and the High Bandwidth Memory as well as the VRM part of the graphics card. It also comes with unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine which allows it to provide best possible cooling performance as well as make it compatible with reversed flow systems and liquid cooling systems with weaker water pumps.

The base of the EK-FC R9 Fury X water block is made of electrolytic copper in bare or nickel-plated, depending on the version, while the top is made of acrylic or POM Acetal material, depending on the version. The Acrylic versions also come with two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes. The water block also comes with pre-installed screw-in brass standoffs.

The EK-FC R9 Fury X water block turns the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X into a single-slot graphics card which, combined with support for FC Terminal connection ports, allow to use up to four Fury X graphics card on a single ATX form-factor motherboard.

The new EK Water Blocks' EK-FC R9 Fury X water block will be available in four different version and EKWB will also offer an optional backplate that will be available in five different color choices, Black, Nickel, Blue, Gold or Red and priced between €29,95 and €37,95.

The EK-FC R9 Fury X water block will be available in standard, Acetal, Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions priced at €99,95 for standard and Acetal and €109,95 for Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions.

As it was the case with previous water blocks coming from EKWB, the EK-FC R9 Fury X is also included in EKWB's Cooling Configurator page and available for purchase via EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network.
