Star Wars: Battlefront gets system requirements

GTX 970/R9 290 and 16GB of RAM recommended

Electronic Arts and DICE have published both minimum and recommended hardware requirements for the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront game and it appears that you must need some decent hardware, including Geforce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 290 as well as 16GB of RAM.

As published on Origin, the minimum requirements include Intel Core i3 6300T CPU, Geforce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850, each with at least 2GB of VRAM, 8GB of system RAM and Windows 7 64-bit.

While minimum requirements are not so bad, the recommended system requirements are quite surprising and include Intel Core i5 6600 or equivalent CPU, Geforce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 290, 16GB of system RAM and Windows 10 64-bit OS.

Star Wars: Battlefront will also need 40GB of HDD storage and at least 512Kbps internet connection.

PCGamesHardware.de also made a neat table showing comparison of minimal requirements in latest DICE games, including Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline and upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront.

The open beta for Star Wars: Battlefront starts on 8th of October while the game will launch on November 19th for PC, Playstation 4 and the XBox One.
