Doom gets official PC system requirements

Launch depends on the region

Bethesda has released both minimum and recommended system requirements as well as specific region launch times for its upcoming Doom game scheduled for Friday, May 13th.

As expected and seen earlier in closed alpha and beta stages of the game, system requirements for Doom are not that high, starting off with Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320 or better CPU, 8GB of RAM and either Nvidia GTX 670 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB graphics card or better.

Recommended system requirements are a bit higher and include Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 or better CPU, same 8GB of RAM and either Nvidia GTX 970 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB graphics card.

Shared system requirements include Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 64-bit as well as 45GB of HDD space.

The game will launch on May 13th at 12 am local time so it will be depend on the region but Bethesda made sure that you can pre-load the game, which starts on May 11th on Steam, Playstation Store and Xbox Live.
