Aqua Computer unveils Kryo M.2 riser card

With heatsink and water block

Aqua Computer has unveiled its new Kryo M.2 PCIe M.2 riser card that wouldn't be a big deal if it did not have support for both heatsink and water block, which should keep those M.2 SSDs well cooled.

The Kryo M.2 riser card is a standard PCIe 3.0 M.2 riser card which supports all M.2 form-factor SSDs. IT comes with gold plated contacts and impedance controlled circuit paths, which should ensure best possible performance.

The standard option is just an adapter and a thermal pad which gets attached to the back of the SSD, providing some cooling for the SSD. The Kryo M.2 will also be available with passive heatsink and an option with a water block. The passive heatsink and water block can also be bought separately.

The price of the standalone Kryo M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 adapter is set at €18.90 while the models with passive heatsink or water block, will sell for €29.90 and €67.90, respectively. The heatsink and the water block will also be available separately with a price set at €12.90 and €49.90, respectively.

All versions should already be available via Aqua Computer web-shop and start shipping by the end of this month.
