At the Computex 2016 show, Plextor has officially announced its new M8Pe SSD lineup that will offer some impressive performance and be available in HHHL PCIe and M.2 form-factors as well as capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB.

Based on the new Marvel 88SS1093 controller and 15nm Toshiba NAND flash, the new Plextor M8Pe SSD lineup will offer sequential performance of up to 2,500 MB/s for read and up to 1,400 MB/s for write.

The 4K random performance peaks at 280K IOPS for read and 240K IOPS for write. It also packs 512MB of LPDDR3 DRAM cache (1GB for 1TB version).
