AMD Radeon RX 470 to cost as low as US $149

US $179 for the 8GB version

While we already wrote about the same US $179 price a couple of times, latest reports coming from the net suggest that the Radeon RX 470 pricing might be yet another surprise from AMD.

According to the report coming from Videocardz.com, AMD will continue its aggressive pricing with the Radeon RX 470 as well, pricing it at US $149 for the 4GB version and US $179 for the 8GB version.

Of course, custom versions from AMD AIB partners will end up priced slightly higher.

According to the latest rumors, the RX 470 has 2048 Stream Processors on 32 Compute Units, which is down from 2304 SPs on the Radeon RX 480. It also has a slower clocked memory, working at 7000MHz. The TDP of the RX 470 should be somewhere around 110W.

If these specifications are true, the RX 470 could end up faster than R9 380X and be a very interesting graphics card for 1080p gamers.
