Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 spotted in Hong Kong

Spotted in retail

It appears that we are closer to the launch of the Geforce GTX 1060 than we think as the card has been spotted in Hong Kong retail.

Spotted on Reddit, the picture shows what appears to be a fully ready GTX 1060.

While we do not have any precise details, we do have a clear picture of a reference cooler that appears to be a bit different compared to the GTX 1080/1070 one and it also comes with a short PCB, similar at the earlier available Geforce GTX 960.

Earlier details suggested that these could be two different SKUs of the Geforce GTX 1060, both based on GP106 GPU and coming with either 4GB or 6GB of memory.

Earlier leaked roadmap also suggested that the performance could put the GTX 1060 somewhere between the GTX 980 and GTX 970, which will provide decent competition for the upcoming Radoen RX 480.

Hopefully it won't be long before we see a bit more details, including the actual specifications of the upcoming Geforce GTX 1060.
