Crucial, Microns consumer brand, expanded its MX300 series, which now includes drives with the following capacities: 275GB, 525GB, 750GB and 1TB. All these drives are based on Micron 3D NAND and available at attractive prices.

Read and write speeds of the Crucial MX300 series are 530MB/s and 510MB/s, respectively, while the manufacturer is saying that this performance can be achieved with all different file types. In terms of endurance the 275GB model features 80 TBW, the 525GB drive offers 160 TBW, the MX300 750GB comes with an endurance rating of 220 TBW and the 1 TB drive boasts 400 TBW. Regarding random read/write performance these Marvel 88SS1074 based drives can hit up to 92k/83k IOPS.

All those drives support 256bit AES encryption, power loss protection, they ship with a copy of Acronis True Image and Crucial offers a three year warranty plan. As we already mentioned pricing is really attractive with these drives. According to Geizhals these are the current prcies in Europe: 275GB 72.90 EUR, 525GB 140.32 EUR, 750GB 179 EUR and 1 TB 280.75 EUR.
