EVGA teases new GTX 1080 Hybrid graphics card

Liquid and air cooling combined

EVGA has teased a picture of its upcoming Geforce GTX 1080 Hybrid graphics card that will feature a hybrid liquid and air cooler.

Probably based on a custom PCB as some of the higher-end GTX 1080 graphics cards from EVGA, like the GTX 1080 FTW, the GTX 1080 Hybrid is special as it combines both an AIO liquid cooler, which takes care of the GPU, with a standard blower-style air cooler which cools down the VRM and memory.

The GPU block is connected to a standard 120mm radiator and it draws power from two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors, ensuring there is enough both cooling as well as power for additional overclocking potential.

We also suspect that the EVGA GTX 1080 Hybrid will come with a decent factory-overclock.

Unfortunately, there are still no details regarding the precise launch date or the price.
