AMD Radeon R9 Fury X drops to €399

Quite a deal

It appears that AMD might be clearing its stock as the Radeon R9 Fury X can now be found for as low as €399 in Europe.

Spotted by Hardwareluxx.de, the XFX Radeon R9 Fury X has been seen in stock with a price at €399, which is a great deal considering that it ranges anywhere from €460 to €600, depending on the manufacturer.

It is most likely that AMD AIB partners are clearing stock or at least trying to make some sort of competition to Nvidia's Pascal-based high-end offer. While Radeon R9 Fury X will not get anywhere near GTX 1080 or GTX 1070, it is still a very fast graphics card that offers performance in the line of GTX 980 Ti, which is now similarly priced in Europe.

In case you forgot about it, the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X is based on AMD's Fiji XT GPU, pack 4096 Stream Processors, 256 TMUs and 64 ROPs as well as work at 1050MHz for the GPU and pack 4GB of High Bandwidth Memory clocked at 500MHz and paired up with a 4096-bit memory interface, for a total memory bandwidth of 512GB/s.

The R9 Fury X also uses an AiO liquid cooler and has launched with a US $549 price tag, so €399 does sound like a good deal.
