Powercolor Devil Box external GPU box now available

Priced at US $379/€419

Powercolor has announced that its external GPU enclosure, known as the Powercolor Devil Box, which is based on AMD's XConnect Technology, is now available both in the US and in Europe.

Priced at US $379 in the US and €419 in Europe, the Powercolor Devil Box uses Thunderbolt 3 40Gbps interface to connect the external box to your system. It support PCI-Express x16 graphics cards with maximum TDP of 375W and 310x140x50mm dimensions.

According to the compatibility list, the Powercolor Devil Box supports AMD RX 400 series, R9 Fury, R9 Nano and any R9 300 series graphics card as well as Nvidia's GTX Titan X, GTX 980 Ti and any other Geforce 900 series graphics cards.

It also comes with Gigabit Ethernet port, four USB 3.0 ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C port as well as a single SATA 6Gbps 2.5-inch slot.

While the price might seem a bit high for just a box, bear in mind that it can give some serious performance boost for certain thin notebooks.
