Asus Geforce GTX 660 Ti Dragon shows up

With high factory overclock

Asus is apparently working on a second graphics card that will a part of its "Dragon" series, the Asus Geforce GTX 660 Ti Dragon. The Dragon series cards usually have a slightly higher factory overclock than the DirectCU II models and some other features like backplate and better VRM.

According to Cowcotland.com site, the new Asus Geforce GTX 660 Ti Dragon could end up with a 1150MHz GPU clock and feature 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6100MHz paired up with a 192-bit memory interface. Judging by leaked pictures of the graphics card, it appears that it may feature some sort of VRM stability add-on that could be similar to previously seen MSI's Reactor.

It is also quite strange to see blue rather than red color scheme on Asus' graphics card as we are rather fond of Asus' red ROG products. The cooler on the other hand looks quite similar to the DirectCU II and it will feature a full cover backplate.

Unfortunately, Techpowerup.com reports that the new GTX 660 Ti Dragon is specific to the China region and its Europe debut is very unlikely.
