4 Gigabyte VRAM
Posted by Marc Büchel
Not long ago AMD launched it's Radeon HD 7990 Malta graphics card and about one week befor the actual launch took place, a sample made it to eBay, where the price went all the way up to almost 100'000 US-Dollar. After checking eBay again for some leakage stuff, we came across an offer, where somebody sells a GTX 780M chip.
The seller says that this MXM module has been tested using 3DMark. Additionally he mentions that the GTX 780M offers no less than 4 Gigabyte of Video memory. Unfortunaltely there are no more details, which means that we still don't know about the clock speeds of the chip itself as well as the memory. What we do know so far is that the module is being sold for 1'299.95 US-Dollar. So, compared to the HD 7990 Malta this is the ultimate bargain of the year (attention sarcasm).
