The Rocket EJ340 RocketRAID series 6Gbps HBA supports up to 16 SATA drives per single connector. In the end it is possible to quadruple the number of drives attached to one single port. Regarding availability HighPoint mention that the Rocket RAID EJ340 6Gbps SATA Expander Modules is available immediately. Distribution will be handled by the global distribution network and through resellers. Retail price of the expander module is going to be 119.00 US-Dolalr.
