Nvidia rolls out Geforce 327.23 WHQL driver

Performance improvements

Nvidia has rolled out the new Geforce 327.23 WHQL-certified driver that will bring logo-certification for Windows 8.1 as well as a handful of performance improvement in various games and bug/issue fixes.

As noted, the new Geforce 327.23 WHQL-certified drivers brings logo-certification for Windows 8.1 as well as a bug fix for PhysX default device selection and a fix for a minor issues with 3D Vision viewer. As far as the performance improvements are concerned, the new Geforce 327.23 WHQL driver brings up to 15 percent in Dirt: Showdown on GTX 770, up to 19% in Dirt: Showdown on GTX 770 SLI, up to 11% in F1 2012 on GTX 770 SLI, and up to 6% in Tomb Raider on GTX 770.

The new driver also brings performance improvements "across the board" although Nvidia did not go into specifics, so we guess that they are either lower than 6% or simply heavily depend on the various configurations.

As always, the new Geforce 327.23 WHQL driver is available for Windows 8, 7, Vista as well as Windows XP in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors.
