14'000 Euro for a Radeon R9 290X

Ah, just some change

Today AMD has shown their new R9 Series graphics cards. It's not a rare thing that on launch days some things sometimes go wrong and today is no exception for that. A few minutes ago we headed over to Geizhals to see if there are some R9 cards listed meanwhile. Browsing the offer we found some hilariously expensive cards.

According to Geizhals, the new Club 3D Radeon R9 290X with 4 Gigabyte of GDDR5 memory is available for no less than 14'224.57 Euro. Sound like the bargain of the century, right? After digging a bit deeper we found another offer on the same Radeon R9 290X, which even has a free copy of Battlefield 4 in the delivery. This card only costs 11'999.99 Britisch Pounds.

Apparently, the R9 290X seems the bargain of all bargains
