MSI announces its mini-ITX Bay Trail motherboard

Mini-ITX with Celeron J1800 Bay Trail CPU

MSI has joined the fun and also announced its own version of the mini-ITX motherboard based on the Intel Celeron J1800 Bay Trail CPU, the MSI J1800I. Coming with integrated Celeron J1800 CPU and rich feature set, according to MSI, the new motherboard should be perfect solution for multimedia systems.

According the MSI, the new MSI J1800I is designed for ultra-low power consumption with TDP of only 10W and even uses passive cooling. The rest of the specs include two SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 8GB of DDR3-1333 memory in dual-channel mode, two SATA 3Gbps ports, single PCI-Express slot, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 and HDMI 1.4a output.

It also bring MSI's Military Class 4 components with Hi-c Cap, SFC and Solid CAPs which should ensure a much better level of reliability.

Unfortunately, we still do not have any information regarding the availability date or the price.
