Swiftech launches Apogee XL Waterblock

First part of upcoming H220X AiO

Within the past few years Swiftech has managed to become rather popular in the custom watercooling market and with their new Apogee XL, the US based make presents it's latest CPU water block, which will be the first component in the upcoming H220X AiO system

In addition to a slight increase in cooling capacity by a single degree, when compared to the Apogee HD, Swiftech has apparently managed to reduce the water resistance by ten percent as well. The revision also brings a bit more industrial look with the illuminated Swiftech logo on top of it which passes through a color filter, which can be either blue, green, red or clear.

The new Swiftech Apogee XL water block support all the current Intel and AMD sockets, including 753 and FM1, but in case you want to use it in older Intel systems, like the LGA 775 or the LGA 1366, you will need a separate backplate.

The official price for the Swiftech Apogee XL water block is set at US $65 which translates roughly to €56. According to Swiftech, the Apogee XL should be available in Europe pretty soon.
