Next to the Maximus VII Gene, ASUS is also going to update their Hero motherboard. The Maximus VII Hero will features a decent price tag and quite a few interesting features.


A closer look at the motherboard shows that also in this case ASUS sticks with the color scheme in black and red. Other than that they've reworked the heatsinks a little bit and the PCB now features matte black, which make this board look quite a bit sexier than the predecessor that featured a glossy coating.
