In this way the airflow is very limited and the GPU tends to run a bit hot. For this reason, CableMod has releaved a mounting kit that should avoid this issue.

CableMod has released a rather neat new products that should appeal to those hardcore modders, sleeved Ethernet and power cables, allowing modders and gamers to match the color of Ethernet and power cables to the rest of the system.

CableMod, a company well known in the modding community for its custom PSU cables, has now launched the CableMod Configurator, a dedicated site that allows users to make their own set of custom PSU cables.

CableMod is quite a famous company when it comes to PC modding and just a year after they brought their special cables, CableMod has now announced its newest addition, the WideBeam LED Strips.

CableMod is actually an interesting little company. Modding is basically going through a revival since about the beginning of 2014 and one of the things, which makes a huge difference to the appearance of a PC are sleeved cables. But still, there is virtually no PSU vendor that adds sleeved cables to the bundle by default. This is what CableMod must have figured could be a business opportunity and therefore they have sets of sleeved cables for a wide range of PSUs.
