Installation

Installation of the ETS-T40  is quite simple and easy, as we said before the thermal compound is not pre-applied. The installation process doesn't take too much time as the mounting process is with very simple. The pressure on the CPU is good and there is no compatiblity issue with this cooler. Other than that the ETS-T40 can be mounted on Intel sockets LGA 775, 1150, 1155, 1156 and LGA 2011 as well as on AMD sockets AM2(+), AM3(+), FM1, FM2. Since the Enermax ETS-T40 is a medium sized tower cooler there won't be any compatibility issues with memory that features large heatspreaders. Installing this cooler on an ATX as well as a mini ITX motherboard didn't cause any issues.
