Conclusion

In conclusion we can say that the Sirus 5.1 from CM Storm is a good product. The build quality as well as the materials fully comply with the CM Storm's standards and any aspect or detail have not been left to chance. Despite the fact that the Sirus 5.1 may seem big and bulky, we found them very comfortable and well secured on our head mostly thanks to the soft cushions. We particularly enjoyed the presence of the two additional leather ear-cups. The sound quality is where it should be, the sound is balanced and the quality of the highs, mids and bass is very good. It is the first time that we used a headset with a true 5.1 output and the audio experience is pleasant and definitely works as long as the game is optimized for surround sound. Hovewer, the audio quality is not even close to a true 5.1 speaker set and these two technologies are simply worlds apart. The software part from CM Storm is very easy to use and in line with the excellent design of the headset. Using the application you can customize and adjust the mixer and much more. The only downside of this headset is the microphone, which is too sensible and able to record any sound.

According to the price search engine Geizhals.eu, the Sirus 5.1 start at a price of 100 Euro. The price is certainly very attractive for a product of this type. The CM Storm Sirus 5.1 receive 4.5 out of 5 stars.
