Acoustics

Headphone

Func decided to equip the HS-260 headset with two 50 millimeters drivers, which should be able to guarantee a good sound experience. We tested the Func HS-260 with a wide variety of music, movies and games and in our opinion the sound is well balanced. During our tests we found a very good reproduction of high, medium and low, Func has done a good job from this point of view. The mids and highs are clear and well defined while the low have a good deep sound but not in an exaggerated way. Only at high-volume, we found some distortion in the audio quality. The earcups are very big in terms of size and compatible with 3D glasses. The soundproofing is very good and we really like it, since the foam completely isolates you from the outside noise and the pressure done by the earpads is very good. The padding is quite soft and pleasant to touch.

Microphone

The microphone, which is removable, is placed on a flexible arm. As for the cable jack, the microphone can be plugged in the right or in the left earcup. The support is quite flexible and with memory effect, definitely not a bottleneck for any event or LAN party. While using this headset for gaming we noticed that spoken language was loud and clear.
