Conclusion

General   + -
The Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX is a sleek little case, which is available in two different versions. Unlike what you might think, it isn't a small case at all, and with the right precautions, you should be able to install high-end graphics cards. The build quality is pretty good and the materials are pleasant to the touch.   - Price

Manufacturing quality / Ergonomics   + -
The Enthoo Evolv ITX is a PC case made of steel and black painted ABS of good quality, both internally and externally. The side panels are rather light, however we did not detect any sharp edges. Regarding the internal space, the Evolv ITX offers interesting solutions like the midplate use to cover the power supply and all cables connected to it. In addition, Phanteks uses the "Drop-n-Lock" system in order to keep the storage mounting simple for the SSD. Assembling the system inside this PC case is a very simple process, thanks to the removable top panel and the 28mm clerance behind the motherboard tray.   - Build quality - Dust filters
- Midplate PSU
- Internal space
- Drop-n-Lock SSD

Design   + -
The design is always a subjective aspect, however, we believe that, with the Enthoo Evolv ITX, Phanteks managed to get a sophisticated design created for those who seek a good internal cooling and also a clean setup. As mentioned in the previous pages, the space inside the Enthoo Evolv ITX is sufficient but at the same time there everything is kept compact. We particularly enjoyed the upper zone dedicated to the installation of radiators and heatsinks, since it offers plenty of room for both. Regarding the liquid cooling system, you get enough space for a custom loop. In our opinion, there is only a small flaw regarding GPU space, since you only get enough room for dual-slot graphics cards and some cooling solutions tend to take two and a half slots.   - Design
- Water cooling solutions even own custom loop
- 2.5 slots GPU can't fit

Temperatures   + -
Having a closer look at temperatures of the configuration we used for testing, we see that with the front fan in place, temperatures are on a reasonable level. Only on the graphics card had slightly higher temperature, mostly due to the limited space available for sufficient airflow.   - GPU temp above the average

Recommendation   + -
If you are looking for a small mini-tower PC case, which is compatible with mini-ITX motherboards and lets you build a rather powerful gaming system, then the Enthoo Evolv ITX from Phanteks should be on top of your list. On Geizhals, the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX is available for 69.90 euro excluding shipping costs. The price in our opinion it is perfectly appropriate and in line with competitors' products as well as a set of features offered by this PC case.   - Gaming-PC
