Resized ImageWith the ATI Radeon EAH5870 G 2DIS ASUS shows their first single chip based graphics card which supports DirectX11. Looking at the chip we find a RV870 which had been developed unter the codename "Cypress". The die-size of 334 square millimetres, a transistor count of 2.15 billion and a lenght of 28 cm the card is quite extravagant. Furthermore the EAH5870 also supports ATI Eyefinity, the simultaneous use of up to three displays as well as a lowered power consumption.

We'd like to thank ASUS for providing us with the testsample.
