Conclusion

General + -
With the Hydro H100i PRO RGB, Corsair adds another 240mm AiO cooler. We like the fact that Corsair has included some RGB LEDs on the waterblock, in this way you can customize your cooler and create a proper color scheme. In other words this cooler is suitable for almost any build. Cooling performance in combination with the two 120mm PWM fans included in delivery is very good. Furthermore we also like the Zero-RPM mode that allows to turn off the fans.   - Cooling capacity

Installation   + -
The installation is simple and pretty straightforward. With two included mounting kits, where one is for Intel and another for AMD sockets, it should be quite easy even for less technical users to mount the cooler properly in a heartbeat. The only - very minor - drawback that we could find is that it is unfortunately not compatible with LGA 775 socket. The thermal paste is pre-applied and although we would like to see it included in the box, this makes the installation even easier for an average user.   - Easy and practical
- Compatible Intel and AMD

Performance   + -
The Corsair Hydro H100i PRO RGB features good cooling performance in every scenario, including 7V and 12V as well as the PWM mode. We tested the Hydro H100i PRO RGB with our fan controller which we use for all reviews. With the fans sets to 7V and 12V, the Hydro H100i PRO RGB managed 7th place regarding load temperatures. Using the PWM mode the H100i PRO RGB again reaches the first part of our chart.   - Cooling performances

Noise Levels   + -
The pump on the Corsair Hydro H100i PRO RGB is not inaudible but in order to hear it you have to move close to it with you ear. If you have the watercooler in a closed case you definitely won't hear it. While using two fans at 7V, the Hydro H100i PRO RGB is subjectively very silent hitting 34.4 dBA. At 12V, we measured 40.9 dBA, which is actually a bit noisy. When testing the cooler in PWM mode, noise levels do not go past 37 dBA, which is still a bit audible.

Recommendation / Price   + -
Checking Geizhals.eu we find the Hydro H100i PRO RGB listed for 119 Euro, which is actually a rather good price. The build quality is on a good level as well as the bundle. Overall this is a good all-in-one watercooler that offers great cooling performance and RGB capabilities. Corsair is offering also a version based on 360mm radiator that we have reviewed previously. If you have enough space in your case and the price isn't an issue for you, we suggest to check that cooler as well.   - Gaming PC
