Right Side

Overview

The panel on the right side looks quite unspectacular. The only thing that is special about it concerns the ventilation area in the bottom left corner. Behind it you can find a 120 millimeter fan which keeps the temperature of the hard drives installed at a reasonable level. In the delivery there is a very interesting goodie, especially if you plan on building a file server with up to nine 3.5 inch hard drive, which would be the maximum for the preinstalled hard drive cage. Therefore what you get are additional cooling blocks, which can be put on the hard drives using screws to provide even more efficient cooling.
If you look a the bottom area you can spot a nice surprise: there is quite a lot of space between the side panel and the motherboard tray. This way routing the cables on the back side of the motherboard tray will cause no issues when you try to put the side panel back in place. Another practical thing concerns the numerous hole one can find in the motherboard tray. Like this it's possible to wire this case very neatly. Last but not least there is a big hole in the motherboard tray where the CPU cooler goes. Therefore it's easy to install a CPU cooler when the board has already been put in place.
